Lankayan Island Dive Resort is an exclusive scuba diving resort, which is situated about 90 minutes from the mainland. The exclusiveness of the resort increases its attractiveness as the secluded environment of the resort provides an intimate atmosphere for guests.

The resort comprises of only 23 seafront chalets, which is strategically placed around the island. The design of the chalets are spacious, classy, and exquisite, with the guaranteed of unique seafront view for each of the chalets.

The island and its surrounding area have been declared part of an immense Marine Protected Area to adopt the eco-tourism concept. Unpopulated and covered by thick tropical island vegetation on its topside, this peaceful, untouched little bit of paradise is ringed by an endless pure white sandy beach.

Lankayan Island Dive Resort is the ideal destination for those who are searching for tranquility and relaxation in a virgin, natural setting, and also for families with children. In addition, is also becoming one of the hottest diving destinations. Its dive sites, all just a few minutes away, boast an unbelievable amount of colourful macro, fauna, and fascinating wrecks. In season between March and May, regular sightings of gigantic and harmless whale sharks can be seen!

Package Details

Package includes:

  •  Transfer from Hotel/Sandakan Airport(flight arrival before 09:00 am only) to Sandakan Yacht Club Jetty and return i.e. on Arrival and Departure Day ONLY.
  •  Transfer by boat from Sandakan Yacht Club Jetty to LANKAYAN resort and return(SIC basis) – 105 minutes
  • Accommodation at LANKAYAN Island Dive Resort
  • Fresh Buffet Meals – breakfast/lunch/dinner throughout the stay
  • Afternoon snacks – served at the restaurant daily
  • Tea/Coffee, cold water and cordial – served throughout the day at the restaurant daily
  • Snorkel around the resort – from the shore or LANKAYAN Dive Centre
  • Guided tour to the Orang Utan Sepilok Rehabilitation Centre on last day-OPTIONAL (guest will pay own entrance fee at the gate)

Note:

  • All prices quoted above are in Ringgit Malaysia (RM)
  • LANKAYAN has no other room category and allocation of room is based on RUN OF HOUSE (ROH) basis.
  • Combining Diver Package(D) and Non-Diver Package(ND) is not allowed (divers have to decide between Diver package (D) OR Non-Diver package (ND) throughout their stay)
  • To purchase Diver Package (D), one must be a certified/licensed diver
  • Single/Solo traveler is subjected to Single Supplement for OWN CHALET with NO SHARING option (Single Supplement rate : additional 30% from the above package rate)
  • Group Travel Option – ONE (1) pax FREE for every NINE (9) paying pax (Subjected to same arrival and departure flight and time)
  • Infant (24 months and below) and elderly (80 and above) not allowed by boat to LANKAYAN
  • Junior Diver (Child Diver) rate is based on Diver Package (D) rate
  •  No pregnant woman is allowed by boat to LANKAYAN Resort
  • No dive allowed within 24 hours prior to departure flight time.
  • Snorkel by boat available at RM 53.00 per person inclusive GST (Order and pay on site, minimum order at least 2 persons)
  • Diver guest are encouraged to bring along their own equipment otherwise opt for rental from LANKAYAN Dive Centre.
