Sipadan-Kapalai Dive Resort is a pristine dive resort that is unique in it own sense. Kapalai is truly special due to its natural location as it is not quite an ‘island’. It is a floating paradise like no other. Built on stilts over a sandbank, Sipadan-Kapalai Dive Resort is an one-of-a-kind water village which gives guests the thrilling experience of watching technicolour fishes swimming in the crystal clear waters. Guests can enjoy the sights of marine life in action as they stroll along the boardwalk, or even underneath their very own water chalets.

Diving around Kapalai is exceptionally easy because of the generally shallow dive sites. The resort offers speedboat trips with 3 boat dives per day to its neighbouring islands of Sipadan and Mabul. Where park permit numbers allow, guests will make a 4-dives trip to Sipadan. All Sipadan dives are done in the morning with refreshments served between dives and the dive boat returning to the resort in time for lunch. Alternatively, a typical day usually consisted of 3 dives per day around Kapalai and Mabul.

Not only it is a great diving destination, it is also an excellent spot for weddings as well. Guests could opt for a lifetime paradise wedding in the secluded private resort. The resort’s breathtaking views can be seen in any part of the resort. No matter how the pictures are taken or by which photographer, the serene Sipadan-Kapalai Dive Resort can be an ideal backdrop for wedding pictures.

Sipadan-Kapalai Package includes:

  • Meet and land return transfer from Tawau Airport to Kapalai private Jetty (Semporna)—80 minutes
  • Boat return transfer from Kapalai private Jetty (Semporna) to resort—45 minutes
  • Accommodation on the resort
  • Fresh buffet meals (breakfast/lunch/dinner) throughout the stay
  • Afternoon snacks served daily at restaurant
  • Tea/Coffee, cold water and cordial served throughout the day
  • Unlimited house reef dive in front of Kapalai Dive Centre (for divers only)
  • Tank, weight and weight belt are provided (for diver only)
  • No extra charge for night dives in front of Kapalai Dive Centre (strictly for advanced divers or divers with night dive experience only)

Notes:

  1. Certified Diver will have to choose either DIVE package or NON-DIVE package throughout their stay—Combination of package is not allowed
  2. To purchase dive package, one must be a certified /licensed diver
  3. Single/Solo traveler is subject to Single Surcharge for own chalet with no sharing option—(the surcharge is additional 50% from the package rate above
  4. Group Travel Option – One(1) pax FREE for every eight(8) paying pax—Subject to same arrival and departure flight and time
  5. 5% off from the package above for sharing 3 adults in a chalet. (maximum 4 adults in a chalet)
  6. 50% off from the NON-Dive package above for non-dive child 3 to below 12 yrs.
  7. Junior Diver (Child Diver) is not applicable to Note(6), rate will be based on Dive package Rate above
  8. Diver guest are encourage to bring along their own dive equipment.
